Originally opened in 1967 and designed by Akira Sato, the course sits on rugged, rolling terrain overlooking Puʻuloa (Pearl Harbor), the historic memorials, and the Waiʻanae mountains to the west.

Following extensive multi-million dollar renovations modernizing its infrastructure and greens, the facility blends a challenging championship layout with a strong commitment to Hawaiian culture, community, and education.
