Located less than 20 minutes from downtown Austin. Secluded in the rolling hill country of Austin, Texas, the 4,000 acre newly-renovated Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa is the ultimate retreat.
The property underwent an extensive renovation and expansion in 2019 that included a second hotel tower being constructed, and all golf courses were refreshed as well. Off the course, there are now four pool areas onsite and the spa was also expanded. There are seven restaurant concepts on property, ranging from casual and poolside to fine dining.
The resort features 72 holes of championship golf, featuring two designs by Tom Fazio, one by local legend Ben Crenshaw (with co-architect Bill Coore) and a fourth course about 30 minutes west, the Palmer Lakeside course.
About Coore Crenshaw Cliffside Course
Designed by two-time Masters Champion and Austin native Ben Crenshaw and renowned golf architect Bill Coore, Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa’s Cliffside course challenges golfers with its approach to undulating Champion Bermuda greens. Featuring wide, sweeping fairways and well-contoured greens of all shapes and sizes, the course is forgiving for beginners, yet still challenging for avid golfers. The Cliffside course highlight is the 18th, an exciting finishing hole that plays slightly uphill. Golfers must stick their approach shot across a creek to land on a low-lying green that is seemingly etched into the hillside.
About Fazio Canyon Golf Course
Scenic views line this 7,153-yard, par-72 course that boasts the signature touch of Tom Fazio, the legendary golf designer. This award-winning course offers numerous scenic holes lined with stately Red Oaks and Sycamore trees and features spectacular Hill Country views of Short Springs Branch, a beautiful limestone bed creek that meanders throughout the course. The 561-yard, par-5 finishing hole is tremendous and by all accounts rivals Barton Creek’s existing #18 hole on the Foothills course. The course was also recently ranked #1 Top Texas Tour Venues That You Can Play by Golf.com.

About Palmer Lakeside Golf Course
