Brighton Dale Links – Kansasville, WI
Holes: 36 Par: 72 Yardage: 7,000+ Architect: Bob Lohmann, Ed Ault, Steven Halberg
Brighton Dale Links offers two 18-hole golf courses, White Birch and Blue Spruce. Both courses are known for their beautiful setting, tucked away amongst cathedral pines and forests of deciduous trees. The marshland and lakes provide a scenic contrast to the abundance of trees that cover the rolling hills.
At 7,012 yards from the back tees, White Birch is the longer of the two championship courses by about 300 yards and it offers the slightly tougher challenge. Water comes into play frequently as do strategically placed bunkers. The towering trees that line the fairways and frame the holes pose the most intimidating threat though. Accuracy is essential and good course management will be generously rewarded.
Blue Spruce is the shorter of the two championship courses and it is slightly more player friendly but both offer a challenging round. There are several large lakes that come into play on Blue Spruce. One of the most memorable holes with water is the tricky par-5 15th, which wraps around a large hazard. In addition to the trees that frame the holes, there are also several bunkers strategically placed along the greens. Brighton Dale Links is definitely a course that will test your accuracy.
