Buenaventura Golf Course is one of the finest municipal courses in the Southland, located in the beautiful beachside community of Ventura.  A William Bell design originally opened in 1932, Buenaventura underwent a $6.5 million dollar renovation in 2004. The design enhances the parkland feel that people loved so much about the original Buenaventura. All the greens have been re-sculpted using classic Bell designs. Beautiful mature trees line Buenaventura’s green fairways, while white sand bunkers border the greens.

Playing at just over 5,800 yards to a par of 70, Buenaventura emphasizes course management and is a shot maker’s delight. Aiming towards design features that were prevalent in the 1930s, the classic shapes and edges now transform the course as if one is stepping back in time.
