Oyster Bay is a par-70 course that plays just under 6,700 yards from the back set of tees, the course sports a large variety of tests that are both beautiful to look at but treacherous to your score card. Throughout your round you’ll find many severe marsh-oriented holes, two island green par-3s, many cavernous bunkers and more all standing between you and a low score on the day.

A past winner of Golf Digest Magazine’s “Resort Course of the Year Award,” Architect Dan Maples and developer Larry Young’s impressive 18-hole layout is one of the best examples of just how elegant and challenging Carolina golf can be.

Oyster Bay is known as one of the area’s premier shot-maker’s courses. From many of the course’s tee boxes, you’ll find yourself staring down tree-lined fairways with landing areas that aren’t overly forgiving to drives that veer left or right. Combine that with water on a large number of the course’s holes as well as many risk-vs-reward opportunities that greet you around nearly every corner, and you’ve got plenty of tests to last you a full round.
