Playing just over 6,100 yards from the back tees, don’t mistake Shamrock’s relatively short length as a sign of weakness – expert course management, shot execution, and unbroken concentration is required to walk away with a low score. The layout features the full gamut of hole designs including drastic doglegs, long and straight fairways, and par-3s that can most certainly inflate your score. Water also comes into play on five of the holes, adding yet another area of difficulty to this already testy course.
