Wedgefield Country Club – Georgetown, SC
Holes: 18 Par: 72 Yardage: 7,057 Architect: Porter Gibson and Bob Toski
Situated along the winding banks of the Black River in Georgetown, S.C, Wedgefield CC is a 18-hole championship golf course founded in 1972 and designed by the renowned Porter Gibson and Bob Toski.
Wedgefield CC is a breathtaking example of South Carolina low country scenery and charm with amazing live Oaks, rolling fairways, and beautiful ponds. Wedgefield plays to the natural contours of the land and, as a result, the front and back nines offer different experiences. The opening nine is sprawling, and as the course nears the water, the land begins to roll. Holes 11 through 14 play along a series of ponds and the natural elevations provide scenic views and move the water from the high ground towards the Black River.
Enjoy the newly renovated driving range complete with practice facility, putting green, and relaxation areas. When your round is complete and you are ready to celebrate your pars and birdies, the charming Brick House Pub awaits with high quality light fare and premium beverages. Wedgefield is open to the public, and we complement our course with a friendly and knowledgeable staff and excellent playing conditions in all seasons.
